One of the most asked questions I get from clients is about concealer.  What brand, colour, or product to use.  So here's some information about what I personally like and use.

I like using liquid concealers for my under eyes, as a shadow base and creams for blemishes.

Liquids:  MAC Pro Longwear (NW 20) (This is what I use on clients for its lasting power and bendability), Avon Extra Lasting (Light), Maybelline Fit Me (Medium Light) (This is my personal favorite that I use on myself the most)

Creams:  Benefit Boi-ing (01), MAC Studio Finish (NW 20)
Why I like Liquids:

They are easy to blend, most are buildable for more coverage, they can be easily mixed if need be.  No matter what, they will crease a little, so you can use your finger to easily blend it out after wearing it for some time.

You can also use concealers to highlight...but I'll save that for another time.

This is how I apply my concealer...

After washing my face, I moisturize and prime my skin.

Time for concealer!  I mix some of the Maybelline Fit Me and the Avon Extra Lasting. Then blend!  I use my Beauty Blender or my fingers.

I've done my right side with the Beauty Blender and my left side with my fingers.

What is a Beauty Blender??

Well this is a Beauty Blender (Mine is a knock off from London Drugs for half the price).  The top image is the dry sponge.  The bottom image is the wet sponge.

Wet the sponge, squeeze all the excess water, squeeze even more in a clean towel.  Now the sponge is about twice the size of the dry sponge and is ready to use.  You can use this to blend out the concealer as well as your foundation.

Foundation

L'Oreal True Match Lumi, applied with a brush.  The Sigma F80 is the BEST foundation brush on the entire planet.  I also like the Real Techniques Expert face brush, but not as much.

Hope this was helpful!!  Have a great week everyone :)
